Faculty AI Guides

2024-2025 Faculty AI Guides

The 2024-2025 cohort of Faculty AI Guides consisted of 51 faculty from departments and schools across Grounds. They actively explored generative AI in their own teaching contexts and shared what they learned with colleagues in their disciplines and areas through individual and informal consultations as well as workshops, department presentations, and lunch-and-learns.

The Faculty AI Guides participated in a two-day institute on AI and teaching in August, and then met monthly in small teams to learn from and with each other. CTE faculty and staff supported the AI Guides with resources and advice as the Guides navigated this rapidly changing landscape. For a small window into the work of the Faculty AI Guides, see this collection of AI-integrated assignments on the UVA Teaching Hub.
