2026 Future Faculty Series: Reflective Teaching Statements
This session will introduce participants to the reflective teaching statement, and provide them with tools (including sample statements and a rubric) to help participants articulate their teaching philosophy, cite illustrative stories and examples, and provide strong evidence of their teaching effectiveness to faculty search committees.
This session on reflective teaching statements is the third workshop of the 2026 Future Faculty Series, which is designed for PhD candidates and postdocs in advanced years of training who are interested in faculty careers.
