Community Engagement & Service Learning: What is the Student Guide to Ethical Public Service, and how can I use it?

Student members of the UVA Student Council Public Service Advisory Board will present an online ethical guidebook they created to support student-led community engagement. The guidebook outlines principles of ethical partnership, reciprocity, and reflection, and this session is an opportunity for faculty and staff to explore how to translate those principles into assignments and partnership practices. Attendees will hear from the student authors, review key guidebook sections, and participate in a facilitated conversation about practical classroom uses.
