Providing instructors with opportunities to develop and apply their knowledge of SoTL research
The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Faculty Learning Community (FLC) is a reading group that provides instructors with opportunities to develop their knowledge of SoTL research and apply it to their teaching through reading, reflection, and discussion. The SoTL FLC topic changes each semester. Our goal is to create a diverse community of instructors who appreciate the ways in which SoTL can be used to improve teaching and learning and make teaching more equitable and inclusive. We hope instructors will recognize their own potential to contribute to the SoTL community at UVA and beyond.
