DIVING DEEPER.

2.X events are intensive, day-long (or longer) workshops that allow instructors to deeply explore a range of pedagogical ideas and approaches. While the topics vary, the purpose of each 2.X event does not: instructors get a solid understanding of the underlying pedagogical theories and frameworks of the topic and lots of work time to incorporate the ideas into their teaching.

Because these event engage advanced topics, prior participation in the CTE’s Course Design Institute or c3Design is typically recommended. Instructors who have developed comparable expertise through other professional development experiences or sustained classroom experimentation may also be well prepared.
