Small Teaching: Retrieval Discussion for TAGS Participants

August 2024 TAGS participants are invited to join CTE Graduate Intern Molly Nichols for an informal discussion of the Small Teaching: Retrieval course on OneHE and how you might apply the ideas to your own teaching context.

In the course, James Lang, the author of Small Teaching: Everyday Lessons from the Science of Learning, speaker, and education consultant, offers some practical and accessible ideas for supporting students’ learning that are relevant to all disciplines and types of TA assignments. These approaches are particularly useful at this point in the semester, as students are grappling with many new ideas and may be struggling to fully understand them.

This event is only open to August 2024 TAGS participants. Registrants will receive the Zoom information closer to the event date.
