Meet our 2021-2022 CTE Faculty Fellows

Join us in welcoming our newest CTE Faculty Fellows! From left to right, they are Marina Escámez Ballesta (Spanish), Joe Fore (Law), and Ann Reimers (Engineering).

Over the course of the year, the Fellows will be working alongside full-time staff to help support the Center's core mission of improving teaching and learning at UVA. Specifically, Marina will be leading a Specifications Grading Faculty Learning Community (FLC) in Fall 2021; Joe will be writing posts for the CTE blog; and Ann is exploring supporting other faculty with their SoTL work or with improving diversity, equity, and inclusion in their classrooms. Additionally, they will be conducting teaching consultations.

Marina, Joe, and Ann are a part of our inaugural cohort, which also includes Rose Buckelew (Sociology) and Kate Stephenson (English).
