Contemplative Pedagogy: Building Capacities for Awareness and Connection (Workshop 3 of 3)
Audience: Graduate students
How can “taking a contemplative pause” enhance students’ engagement with course material and with one another? In this third of three in-depth workshops this semester, Karolyn Kinane, Associate Director at the Contemplative Sciences Center, will share a few activities that build students’ capacities for self-awareness, presence, and connection to others. Participants will then have significant time to create or revise assignments and activities that incorporate a contemplative pause in service of desired learning outcomes.
The Zoom meeting information will be provided once you register. For questions about registration, contact Claire Reeger (email@example.com).
