A OneHE-supported learning community for new faculty
Inspired to learn more about teaching? Excited to expand your UVA teaching community? New faculty members have the opportunity to get priority access to a free, one-year subscription to OneHE and a CTE-facilitated learning community.
OneHE offers a wide range of mini-courses consisting of about 20 minutes of video from an expert in the field of teaching and learning along with a few reflection questions. Course topics include inclusive teaching, teaching with technology, supporting student success, course design, the science of learning, and much more.
Drawing on our pedagogical expertise and familiarity with the UVA context, the CTE has selected six, bite-sized courses that new faculty will take, before meeting to discuss the content in a series of Zoom sessions with colleagues and a CTE facilitator.
