Summer Meet-Ups
Writing about Teaching
Update: Our Writing about Teaching series will continue into July!
No programming. No pressure. Just working on our writing-about-teaching projects.
Join colleagues this summer for a series of informal meet-ups designed to help you move forward on any scholarly project related to teaching: designing a new SoTL study, crafting an IRB protocol, writing in all forms (empirical articles, reflective essays, blog posts, etc.)—you name it. These flexible sessions are about carving out dedicated work time in good company.
Meet-ups will occur throughout the month of June and July in various on-Grounds and local locations, with some hybrid options available. Most are scheduled in 2-4-hour blocks so that you can drop in when it works for you. There’s no formal facilitation, but you’re welcome to write quietly, ask questions, and share space with fellow instructors doing similar work.
Register to receive a view-only Outlook calendar of scheduled meet-ups.
Want to host a few sessions? Let us know in the sign-up form—you’ll get edit access and can add your own meet-ups to the shared calendar.
