Presenting diverse or controversial materials to students can be challenging. Panelists will discuss their experiences in encouraging divergent viewpoints in class, while maintaining an atmosphere of academic respect. This session will focus on increasing student receptivity to diverse materials, such as multicultural, feminist, and gay perspectives.
