This interactive presentation will discuss new research findings from neuroscience, biology, and the cognitive sciences and suggest ways to apply them in a higher education setting. Topics will include preparing the brain to learn, findings on movement and exercise, sleep, memory formation and recall, attention enhancers, multisensory learning and teaching and he role patterns play in teaching and learning.
