Graduate Student Associate
A PhD candidate in English, Alison Caviness is a feminist critic who investigates depictions of gender and sexuality in twentieth-century American texts, particularly those about the U.S. South. She has taught courses in the history of English literature, academic and professional writing, and women’s studies. In her free time, Alison enjoys attending local theater productions and watching film adaptations of nineteenth-and twentieth-century novels. As a GSA, Alison hopes to inspire, and be inspired by, the University’s many talented teachers.
